About the WW collet with 1″ blank
To make it easy for you to make your own custom tool holder, we now provide a 1″ diameter blank collet without a hole or slots. It is made from free-machining steel, so you can drill and machine it to whatever shape you need. The shaft is pre-machined and threaded to accept your WW collet holder.
These collets are general-purpose blanks that take advantage of the WW collet adapter and drawbar for rapid application in the lathe or mill. If you want to read more about WW collets, see the link in the Instruction tab. Sherline also makes a #1 Morse blank.
